Membership in Cuban-American National Chamber of Commerce grows.
The third Chamber reunion held July 22, 2026 drew the largest attendance to date, demonstrating the significance of the organization. Mr. Diego Suarez, co-founder of the Cuban American National Foundation, in addressing the audience, stated “the importance of this organization as a vehicle to make great capital contributions to a future democratic Cuba is undeniable”.
The growing list of a new younger generation of members who have recently joined the organization demonstrates the enthusiasm for Cuban-American entrepreneurs to join with Cuban nationals in a future free Cuba. The venue provided a relaxed atmosphere in an outdoor bayfront setting where members could exchange information about each other’s business.

Meeting on June 24 Considers Creation of a Cuban Stock Exchange (Bolsa Cubana de Valores)
CANCC Trustee Joseph Hernandez and Cuban-American businessman Michael Fux are currently working on organizing the first steps to structure the future Cuban Stock Exchange, an initiative designed to become operational once Cuba begins a democratic transition that allows the establishment of a free market system. The creation of a stock exchange is an important item on CANCC’s workplan. To this end, an application to register the trademark name Bolsa Cubana de Valores has been filed with USPTO. The project aims to infuse Cuba with much needed national and international capital, and for the regular Cuban citizen to invest and generate individual wealth.

At far end of table, Joseph Hernandez leads the meeting. Mr. Hernandez maintains close relationships with important international stock markets and highlighted the support received from Nasdaq to develop this initiative.
Cuban-American National Chamber of Commerce creation is announced at second reunion.
The Chamber seeks to be proactive in its approach to building bridges between future Cuban entrepreneurs and the free world of business. Ideas for a three year work plan were presented at the second reunion on May 20, 2026. The plan promotes our members’ civic involvement as well as business involvement in a new, democratic Cuba. Let’s create something meaningful together: the reconstruction of Cuba!
